How it all started/ Como tudo comecou

When I first started thinking about bringing scrapbook to Brazil I had an idea of how things would happen, until I got back in Brazil.But let me tell you how it all started.
I always liked cute things, "girlly" things. When I came to the USA I was introduced to scrapbook, actually, a little before coming I saw the work of a friend and I liked it. I tried to make one album to bring with me, not knowing for sure what it was. After getting married I really got introduced to the world of scrapbook. I didn't think I would be good at creating pages, and every time it took me so long to do one small step, I got frustrated at first, but when I  got to the final stage it made me very proud and I really happy. The reason why I love scrapbook now, is because I can see my comments about my cute family, my husband, my son, my daughter, and be reminded of what was happening, when, and the feelings from that day. I also could share with everybody. Another reason is that I really like making things and like a friend said "if I see something I like and I think I can do it, I will try to do it". I like making cards, all kinds of cards, and  give them with gifts. To see the people's face when they find out I made the card is priceless. So, after a few years of learning scrapbook, card making with a very creative teacher, I had the opportunity to create my own line of scrapbook material. I know two special people that live in China and are, I think, the most amazing people ever. They manage the printing part of the company (manifacture). I have talked to them about my ideas and taking scrapbook to Brazil. They have been very helpful with the first stages of my business.

Quando eu comecei a pensar em trazer scrapbook para o Brasil eu tive uma idéia de como as coisas iriam acontecer, até eu voltar em Brazil. Mas deixe-me dizer-lhe como tudo comecou.

Eu sempre gostei de coisas fofas, "girlly", ou de menina. Quando eu vim para os EUA fui apresentado ao scrapbook, na verdade, um pouco antes de vir eu vi o trabalho de uma amiga e eu gostei. Eu tentei fazer um álbum para levar comigo, sem saber ao certo o que era. Depois de me casar eu realmente foi introduzido ao mundo do scrapbook. Eu não acho que eu seria criativa fazendo páginas, e cada vez que me levava tanto tempo para dar um pequeno passo, eu ficava frustrado no começo, mas quando chegava a fase final ficava muito orgulhoso e eu realmente feliz . A razão pela qual eu amo esse trabalho agora, é porque eu posso ver os meus comentários sobre a minha família linda, meu marido, meu filho, minha filha, e ser lembrada do que estava acontecendo, quando, e os sentimentos daquele dia. Eu também poderia compartilhar com todos. Outra razão é que eu realmente gosto de fazer as coisas e como uma amiga disse: "se eu ver algo que eu gosto e eu acho que posso fazer, vou tentar fazê-lo". Eu gosto de fazer cartões, todos os tipos de cartões, e dar com presentes. E ver o rosto das pessoas quando descobrem que eu fiz o cartão me faz feliz. Então, depois de alguns anos de aprender scrapbook, fazer do cartão com uma professora muito criativa, eu tive a oportunidade de criar minha própria linha de material de scrapbook. Eu conheco duas pessoas especiais que moram na China e são, eu acho, as pessoas mais surpreendentes de sempre. Eles gerenciam a parte de impressão da empresa (manifacture). Eu falei com eles sobre minhas idéias e de levar para o Brasil com precos melhores. Eles têm me ajudado muito com as primeiras fases da minha empresa.
